Mississippi’s 2019 Gubernatorial Election

Mississippi is one of three states holding a gubernatorial election in November. In next month’s primaries, three Republican and eight Democratic candidates will compete for their party’s nomination. In Mississippi, a primary candidate must capture at least 50 percent of votes cast to secure the nomination.
